Here at MDC we pride ourselves in our excellent service to provide children with a fun and friendly environment to learn new skills, meet new friends, have fun and keep fit! In and amongst our classes perfect for beginners and children new to dance, we also have a hugely successful competition team that travel the country and have won many national and international championships including The World Championships.

Trainers of Britain’s Got Talent Semi-finalists ‘Yakub’ & ‘Mini Mezzos’ we aim to give children an exciting new focus on improving their confidence, co-ordination, strength and flexibility whilst learning and progressing in their dance ability along the way.

All Children have the chance to dance in shows, displays and fetes, complete exams and even join our competition team! Dancers at MDC have the opportunity to compete and train in different countries accross the world, dance in our MDC shows twice a year as well as external projects and showcases. Our dancers were also featured in the Wii Game ‘Get up and Dance’ on the full console game and also TV advert. Here at MDC, we have a hugely successful Freestyle competition team. Freestyle was the beginning of MDC, and we continue to deliver industry leading training in Freestyle and Slowdance to some of the countries top champions. Freestyle is an upbeat, energetic style of dance, challenging dancers through fast paced jumps, turns, kicks and diverse steps. It is the trendiest and most popular style of dance in the UK today, and here at MDC we are so passionate about the dance style as it produces the most driven individuals, with incredible work ethic and the ability to perform and deliver under competitive pressure, a very sort after skill required in a professional dancer. Here at MDC, we offer Jazz classes suitable for both complete beginners and advanced dancers. Jazz is a style of dance that is influenced by a range of other dance styles, such as Ballet and Tap. It is heavily influenced by African and European dances, and is characterized by its lively and fun style. Jazz is an important aspect to the dancer’s repertoire, as it is extensively used in musicals and commercial productions. Understanding and mastering Jazz moves also helps students develop their Ballet skills and vice versa.

MDC are an Acrobatic Arts certified studio, offering classes from beginner to advanced level for boys and girls ages 4-18yrs. Our classes are split by Level, ensuring each dancer is encouraged to reach their personal potential, regardless of age.

The Acrobatic Arts program is designed to teach dancers a complete understanding of AcroDance and is based on the five divisions: Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Limbering, Tumbling

The syllabus is currently based on 350 skills across 12 levels and is constantly updated to ensure it is comprehensive.

Acrobatic Arts is essential two skills in one program – the art of dance and the skill of the acrobat.

This class is perfect for mini budding stars, who love perform. Our Mini Stage Stars, is a fun and friendly class for boys and girls ages 4-7years, building the foundations of a performer. Explore different styles of dance each week including Freestyle, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical & Musical Theatre, building confidence, musicality and co-ordination. After our mini stage class, dancers can progress on to style specific classes, having learnt all the foundations needed to succeed.

Contemporary Dance is characterized by a free-flowing and natural form of expression. In the mid-1950s, it took on a life and identity of its own, and has since become a staple in the commercial dancers’ repertoire. Here at MDC, we offer contemporary dance for both Beginner and Advandced dancers, Open to boys and girls ages 7-18yrs. Contemporary Dance is used across many different kinds of productions, both on the West End and within a commercial setting. Due to its flexibility and organic fluidity, it can deliver a truly unique dance style that is often driven by a strong emotional narrative, expressed and interpreted by the dancer.

An all round fun and friendly class, for the dance loving individual. Explore a mix of styles, in a fun recreational class. Open to boys and girls ages 6-12yrs, dancers still have the same opportunities as all other styles, but in a non pressured nurturing way to build passion and the fundamentals of dance.

Ballet is as much an art as it is a dance. It combines beauty, expression, and drama in quite a unique way, enchanting audiences since the 15th century. Here at MDC, we have Ballet available for boys and girls from ages 3 right up to 18, with classes split by grade. Ballet is the dance on which virtually all other dances are built. It strengthens the body and develops posture, grace, and balance. One of the ways that agents or directors can filter out unsuitable commercial dancers at auditions is to ask an entire group to perform Ballet moves so it is crucial for any dancers wishing to continue a career in performance.

A fun recreational class, our streetdance is open to boys and girls ages 4+, with classes split by age. Street Dance is a general term that describes a variety of dance styles. Its origin can be traced back to the early 19th century as it is heavily influenced by Folk, Tap, and Jazz Dance moves. The cultural significance of Street Dance is that it is derived from, and championed by, everyday people and communities ‘in the street’, as opposed to being crafted in a dance studio environment. Our streetdance classes aim to increase confidence and musicality, while exploring different areas of the style including popping, hiphop, house and BBoying.

Commercial dance is the style danced in pop artists live shows, music videos and movies. There are many different styles of dance that are worked into the commercial style of dance including hip hop, jazz, locking, popping, contemporary and more. It is a combination of self expression, energy and passion and is the most performed dance style worldwide. Here at MDC, we offer commercial classes for both beginners and advanced dancers, ensuring all reach personal potential and the highest self development.

Tap dance is a style of dance characterized by using the sound of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion. It blends performance and musicality and is an essential part of well rounded dancer seeking a career in the arts. Tap combinations build strength in the legs and feet, in addition to increasing flexibility in hips, knees and ankles. Here at MDC, our tap classes are for girls and boys ages 7-18yrs.

Body Con

A challenging and essential class for all dancers wishing to reach their potential blending cardio and resistance to an energetic beat to work the entire body. A full body workout, focusing on the key muscle groups, to strengthen, condition and improve cardiovascular health. Dancer specific, our Body Conditioning classes and tailored for our students ensuring their bodies are physically fit enough to safely perform the physical demands within dance minimising the risk of injury and improving the quality of movement.


An essential part of a dancers training, our stretch classes are tailored to push each student to their individual potential, lengthening muscles, improving mobility and increasing flexibility. Each class will focus on different muscle groups, catered to improving the dancers ability to perform key dance steps.


Technique is the basis of all fundamentals of dance, from holding your body correctly while performing, to executing skills properly to progress to routine.

Strong technique extends across all areas of dance, regardless of the style of dance studied.

This class is aimed at dancers that want to further their field and explore the art of a proffesional career in performing arts. Each week of the month, MDC brings you a new class, with an industry expert. Each week we rotate through Singing, Drama, Audition Prep and A special guest workshop in a new dance style for the dancers to push themselves to become an allround competitive performer. This class is vital for those wanting to head into west end shows, proffesional commercial work, or any other performing arts career.


Adam Nightingale

Adam began his freestyle dance journey at age 7 at a local school in Milton Keynes. After winning many championship titles including The European Championships, he was competing in the top level of Freestyle for many years. Completing his teaching qualifications led to the the beginning of MDC alongside Kirsty and in recent months he was also nominated ‘Breakthrough professional of the year’ and then later awarded ‘Young Professional of the Year’ by the ADFP. As a championship level adjudicator Adam also travels the country adjudicating competitions very frequently.

Kirsty Nicholls

Beginning dance at age 10, Kirsty competed in competitions accross the country winning many championship titles working her way up to premier championship level and also featuring as one of the dancers in Nintendo Wii’s ‘Get up and Dance’ game and TV advert. After many years competing, alongside Adam, MDC was born and both Kirsty and Adam dedicate their lives to bringing children as many opportunities in dance as possible, training the stars of the future alongside her successful Freestyle Dance costume company.

Danni Cash

Danni is the head of our contemporary and commercial classes here at MDC and is a skilled dancer with over 12 years of training and performance experience. Danni has worked alongside known contemporary artisits of the UK and performed in theatres and festival stages nationwide. After years of training at top longon colleges, along with her Bachelors degree in Dance, her wealth of knowledge is an asset to the MDC team and ready to pass onto every MDC dancer. 

Rachel Angus

Rachel is the head of our Ballet Department here at MDC and has a wealth of knowledge and passion ready to pass on to our MDC students big and little!

Ronke Fadare

Ronke is the head of our Streetdance department at MDC. Dance and performing has been always been a huge part in Ronkes life, and her training and qualifications in dance therapy play a big role in her classes. Bringing out confidence and rhythm in her dancers, she is a fantastic asset to our team at MDC and teaches in a fun and energetic manner.

Tom Evans

Tom began his dancing life at a local school in Walsall where he trained weekly in freestyle and street dance. He quickly progressed up to a championship level freestyle dancer and gained many titles over the years. After retiring and continuing training, he is now a professional commercial dancer and is passionate about bringing dance to everybody no matter their age or ability. He can’t wait to pass on years of knowledge, passion and experience to our dancers.

Jessica Campbell

Jessica is an ex gymnast and synchronised swimmer and competed at national level in both sports before studying dance in London, University of Roehampton. Since then, she has performed in Greece for 3 summer contracts and spent 6 months in India dancing in Bollywood films and music videos. She has also performed at events and shows here in the UK and specialises in contemporary, commercial and bollywood styles. 

Rebecca Clow

Miss Becky has returned to her native UK after retiring from a successful international career as a classical ballet dancer. She trained at Elmhurst Ballet School, where she performed with Birmingham Royal Ballet. Becky was the first English girl to join Moscow State Ballet, touring Europe and Mexico with productions such as Swan Lake, Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty. Becky is an enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher, and is very excited to begin her journey with Mezzo Dance Company.
